Math Questions Hub is designed to need as little of your data as possible. No account, no tracking of what you personally type, and nothing processed on a remote server.

What's processed locally, not on a server

Problems typed into the solver or calculators, and worksheet generation, all run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. None of that content is sent to us or to any third party. Closing the tab discards it.

What's stored on your device

Practice history, accuracy by topic, and ruler calibration settings are saved using your browser's local storage, a standard web feature that keeps data on your device only. This lets your progress persist between visits without an account. Clearing your browser's site data removes it completely, and it never leaves your device in the meantime.

What we don't do

  • We don't require an account or collect names, emails, or personal identifiers to use any tool.
  • We don't sell or share data, because we don't collect the kind of data that would be sellable in the first place.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which tools and guides are useful and where the site is slow: aggregate data like page views, general location by country, and device type. This data isn't tied to the math problems you solve or your practice history, which never leave your device (see above). Google's own use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking generally usingGoogle's browser add-on.

Cookies and your choices

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies (the ones analytics, and in the future possibly advertising, rely on). Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage and applied automatically on later visits. Declining doesn't limit any tool on the site; every solver, calculator, and practice feature works the same either way.

Advertising

The site doesn't currently show ads. If we add advertising in the future, it will likely be through Google AdSense, which can use cookies to show ads based on your visits here and other sites, unless you've declined non-essential cookies through the banner above. If and when ads are added, this section will be updated with specifics, and the existing cookie choice you've already made will continue to apply.
